I seem to be drawn to these traditional iconic quilt designs. This clamshell design has always seemed a bit tricky to me BUT I have found a fantastic method and tool to use. This makes the piecing and keeping everything straight and behaving a breeze. A great scrappy quilt and works for muted, brights, traditional and modern styles. No end to the possibilities.
