Week 33 - Arkansas Crossroads

Hi there and a very happy new year to you. I hope that your Christmas break was a relaxing one. Possibly time to stop saying ‘happy new year” but I kind of like it.

I also really struggle to take down my Christmas tree at home. I just love it and it’s only up for such a short time. So, it’s still there, sparkling lights and all. The longest I leave it still up is Feb 14th - Valentines Day. It would be unseemly any longer haha.

Did you think that I had fallen away with these blocks? I had planned on still making and posting them over the Christmas break but of course Christmas overtook me so I have had a wee break.

We are back into it now and here is Week 33 - Arkansas Crossroads

This block is quite an easy block to construct - a combination of four half square triangles with squares. However, it makes a really neat pattern when you repeat the blocks and sew together to make a secondary pattern. The black line indicates a single block.

Well that us for another week - I’ll see you back here Wednesday next week for Week 34.

Take care, Christine
